Even though the current administration continues to defund our space exploration programs, at least other countries still have their priorities straight. Where would we be without science? With space-mutant cabbage bacteria, that's where.
Thank god for science.

My father used to go to South Korea twice a year, and he brought back a jar of kimchi that we had in our fridge for years. I remember sometimes popping the top off for my friends to smell and gross them out - it was awful-smelling. Imagine my surprise when I finally tried it in college (a different jar, of course) and actually liked it.
But there's something about dangerously mutating cabbage bacteria that's fascinating in a total Star Trek-esque way.
